For location photographers, the RotaCam offers adjustable positioning of the flash, while providing a solid platform for the Mamiya 645 Series cameras
A unique and convenient sliding arc (or cam) moves the camera from a horizontal to vertical position quickly and easily. Since the camera rotates on its optical axis, there's no need to re-compose or re-focus, just swing the camera and shoot
Engineered from high quality aluminum alloy, the RotaCam is a precision designed and manufactured camera/flash support bracket
The camera mounts via a standard 1/4-20 screw supplied with the bracket
There is an accessory cold flash mounting shoe on top of the ergonomically designed handgrip; This shoe can also be used as a mounting solution for radio or infrared triggering slaves or for an additional flash
The bracket also features retractable support legs which allow you to rest the bracket on a flat surface when not in use
There is a Flash Tilting Lock Knob on the left side of the flash arm to set the flash at the desired position
In addition, it is possible to adjust the height of the flash by loosening both locking knobs located on the left side of the flash arm
The bracket also comes with a comfortable, adjustable leather wrist strap
The RotaCam has been designed to interface with both the 645 Pro-TL and 645AF Series cameras by the use of the proper electronic shutter release which allows the camera to be fired from the trigger release on the handgrip
